The Strategic Planning Summit is a retreat style virtual workshop series where organizational leaders bring together members of their board and leadership team to collectively engage in a structured strategic planning process. Each leader taking part in the summit will attend a summit orientation, complete pre-work, receive ongoing coaching and customized content, lead their team through 10 sessions, and gain a network of support from other leaders in the ecosystem.

The need: Less than 50% of all nonprofits have a written strategic plan. These written plans are usually completed by an expensive external consultant and end up on a shelf to collect dust. This leads to ineffective use of resources and lack of understanding of how to meet organizational goals. As a result, organizations are tirelessly working to better the region by deepening their impact but find themselves not being able to expand their work and suffering personnel burnout. The Strategic Planning Summit was created to put clarity and decision making power into the hands of organizations to adjust their current strategy and push the needle forward for themselves and the community.
This summit saved us time and resources by keeping us focused on what we identified as our purpose. It has given me a whole new confidence in what we are doing and how we are doing it.

We are looking for leaders who are ready to take their organization down a path of clarity. Our leaders should be willing to celebrate their organization strengths while honing in on weaknesses, be vulnerable and courageous as they lead their team through 10 virtual sessions full of decision-making conversations, and be visionary when setting goals and outlining the ways they can be achieved in this new world we all find ourselves in.
