Akerman has supported us from our earliest stages, when we grew our own organization in a shared office space with them as part of their AkermanIN and AkermanX initiatives. For five years, Akerman provided pro-bono health checks to the participants in our accelerator, which helps ensure that the diverse participants in our programs get expert answers to their most pressing legal questions.

In 2018 we worked in conjunction with Mr. Lewis to launch the Music Access Fellowship, a unique $1,000,000 fellowship focused on strengthening the entire music education ecosystem in the region. We continue to be inspired by his significant impact on Miami through his investment in musical arts.

Radical Partners has collaborated closely with GET (Gender Equity in Tech)  Cities to implement their GET Champions Miami Initiative; an exclusive intervention tailored for innovative tech leaders who foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in their companies, particularly among women, trans, and nonbinary employees. After nearly five years of operation, the GET Cities national initiative, designed to accelerate the power and influence of historically excluded people and places in tech, is embarking on a new innovative chapter: transition to community.While we’re sad to see GET Cities close its doors, we are SO happy they chose us to carry forward the work piloted at GET Cities in Miami in 2024 and beyond.

The Miami Foundation has been a foundational mentor and supporter of Radical Partners since our inception. Our founder Rebecca Fishman Lipsey designed Radical Partners while a part of the Miami Fellows Program and we house our nonprofit funds at The Miami Foundation.They have supported, collaborated, and partnered with us on virtually every initiative we have ever launched, fromSocial Entrepreneurship Bootcamp to100 Great Ideas, 10 Days of Connection and our most recent Strategic Planning Summit.

We are honored to have been selected as a Citi Foundation #Progressmaker in partnership with The Miami Foundation in 2018. This designation came with a generous investment from Citi Foundation to build resources to strengthen the entire nonprofit ecosystem in Miami through the creation of our Strategic Planning Summit curriculum.The Citi Foundation Progressmakers initiative included a national fellowship with Progressmakers from across the nation, which brought us an incredible family of collaborative thought partners and coaching and support from Urban Institute among other resources. Beyond trusting us as partners in the organizational strengthening work of 5 of the leaders selected for their RISE leadership program, CWP also invested in the organizational capacity of Radical Partners in 2024 with a general operating grant. We are also proud to call them a peer in our work as “Place Based Intermediaries” in our respective cities, Washington DC and Miami as part of the CORE national network that is reimagining the role of intermediaries in streamlining and deepening local social impact nationwide.

We were honored to be a part of the Gucci Changemakers community championing important social and economic issues and creating lasting change as one of the nation’s 15 Impact Fund Grantees in 2021. Since its launch in 2019, Gucci Changemakers Scholarship Program and Impact Fund have invested over $2 million in multi-year grant funding to organizations and students working to promote social good in diverse communities throughout North America.

Radical Partners was proud to be the Miami partner for Glossier for Good from 2021-2024. Glossier for Good invests in entrepreneurs and nonprofits expanding the definition of beauty with their products, programs, and initiatives.Their Miami retail store benefited our social impact work by donating proceeds of a signature beach bag and helped us serve more nonprofits and underrepresented communities. The Carrie Meek Foundation invests in systems-level efforts that ensure equitable health, housing, education, and economic opportunities for people in marginalized and underserved communities. Thanks to their support, we have offered scholarships to participants of Leadership Lab and Social Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and have leveraged their expertise and deep knowledge of South Florida to strengthen these programs.

A big thank you to Commissioner Eileen Higgins and her team at District 5 for selecting Radical Partners as a grant recipient as part of their Mom & Pop Small Business program. The program provides financial and technical assistance, as well as resources to qualified businesses approved for funding in District 5. We love to see local elected officials giving back to their constituents in this meaningful way.

Every year, Coors Light honors Latino leaders across the U.S. and Puerto Rico through the Coors Light Líderes of the Year program. We were honored that they selected our CEO, Joan M. Godoy as one of the five outstanding leaders in 2022 and provided Radical Partners with a grant.

For 17 years, the program has emboldened Latino trailblazers who, through their innovative leadership initiatives, have a transformational impact on the communities they serve, achieve personal and professional success, and serve as role models for the next generation of Hispanic leaders.

Our 10 Days of Connection Co-founders and Partners

In order to combat divisiveness and build a more inclusive, connected region, we are proud to lead the 10 Days of Connection alongside an incredible group of social impact organizations. This initiative was co-founded in 2016 by The Children’s Trust, MCCJ, Miami Herald, The Miami Foundation, United Way, and Radical Partners.

Since then, the movement has been sponsored by 20+ partners and most importantly, engages a robust host committee of +/- 200 collaborators every year. We owe it all to them.
