MORE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES
It was time for us ALL to be counted! We were proud to be part of Miami-Dade Counts 2020, a collaborative campaign led by The Miami Foundation to allocate resources and share critical information and tools with nonprofits, local governments, businesses and community members.
We were one of the 29 grantees who received funds to make sure all people in Miami-Dade County got counted. We created an ecosystem map for us all to learn what organizations were targeting what populations and neighborhoods, which enabled us to collaborate with each other, and accomplish greater results.
Public Transit Day
In order for our city to ultimately thrive, we need to invest in strengthening our public transit system.
On December 9th, 2016, in partnership with our friends at Urban Impact Lab, we produced South Florida's first ever Public Transit Day - a regional day of action focused on getting elected leaders and locals to ride public transit and engage in city-wide dialogue around the importance of strengthening our transit system. More than 40 elected leaders in the tri-county area participated, and thousands of locals participated in person and via social media.
The idea was born out of our 100 Great Ideas campaign focused on Transit Solutions. Our host committee and sponsors were absolutely incredible, and we can't wait to do it again next year.

30 Days of Change
What does it take to create a world where everyone views themselves as a changemaker?
Ashoka, the strongest global network of social entrepreneurs was determined to find out. In partnership with Ashoka leadership in South Florida, we created a social-media campaign focused on highlighting the fact that everywhere you look in South Florida, you could find people taking on serious issues with their own two hands.
Radical Partners designed and managed the campaign, and the results went far beyond our expectations. Over the course of the 30 days, more than 700 individual changemakers were celebrated (many were celebrated more than once), and the group swelled to close to 1000 participants. The campaign was simple. Celebrate a changemaker, and then invite them to "pass it on", and celebrate someone else. It was incredible to learn about the work of so many great people, and to see them be celebrated and celebrate others all at once. At the end of the campaign, Ashoka invited all participants to come out for a community networker, to honor the changemaking culture of Miami, and to build connections among those who engaged in the campaign.
